Elevated temperature tensile strength testing system

Elevated mechanical testing is a type of testing that is used to study the behavior of materials under high temperatures and high pressures, often in extreme environments such as aerospace or nuclear applications.

Heat treatment is a metalworking process that involves heating and cooling metals in order to alter their microstructure and enhance their physical and mechanical properties. The main objectives of heat treatment are to enhance the strength, hardness, toughness, ductility, and corrosion resistance of metals. These properties can be improved by controlling the heating and cooling process to achieve the desired microstructure of the metal.
